First of all we will consider the meaning of the word REFINED in relation with the word sons.
MEANING: Refined means made pure by having other substances taken out of it
Thus looking at the meaning of the word refined sons from the above definition.
MEANING: It means sons that were made pure by having other substances like adultery, hatred, fornication, strife, wrath, seduction and so on taken out of them.
When God created the man in the garden of Eden, man knew no sin until the devil deceived him and collected all the "credentials" that God has given to him to rule over other creatures. Man became a clay, an empty vessel that will pass through pain before producing its sound. When God created man in "his own image" he fell from that realm to a "lowered realm" of existence.
And God said let us make man in our own own image after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26
Man lost all these mandate due to carelessness but the creator of all things still LOVED man even though man cannot behold His glory nor stand in His presence. God's plan was how to restored man back to His glory. The first generation became wild beast on the earth surface. And God made an end to their existence.
There were giants in the earth in those days .................. And God's saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thought of heart was only evil continually. Genesis 6:4-5
Thus putting an end to their existence, restoring man was now the next plan of God.
